THE TOOLBOX

Platforms, apps, and tools to help you create

  • NEWSLETTERS & DIGITAL PRODUCTS: Newsletters are the “it girl” right now, especially with questions on where social media platforms are going. Cue Kit, a creator-centric newsletter, email marketing, and digital product marketplace platform, which has been leaning into providing an alternative way for creators to connect with their communities. Take a tour around their offerings here and compare it with other newsletter platforms, here.

  • NETWORKING 101: Expanding one’s network is important for fielding new opportunities. PLATFORM UPDATES

New capabilities loading…

THREADS → Creators that have become fans of Thread’s custom feeds feature, are going to love this update. The feature, or capability rather, enables platform users to share the custom Feeds they’ve created with fellow creators, who can then pin that feed to their own profiles as well. The goal is to provide another way for users to share interests, find likeminded creators, and to generate jumping off points for interaction amongst accounts. To create and share your own public Feed, follow these steps.

BLUESKY → As video continues to be king, the platform has launched a profile feed dedicated solely to video posts. This update aims to enhance the ability for creators to cross-post their video content onto Bluesky, and to cater to creators/users that prefer to engage with video-first content. As noted by The Verge, videos on Bluesky are still limited to a minute or less [hopefully this evolves to match other social media platform’s parameters]. To access the feature, update your app.
